    It all begins...

This world as we know it has fantastic creatures and vast places and various lands. But the chaos that now controls the land is causing mayham on the creatures who live there. The main races, Keidran, Basitan, Human, Elven, Dragon, Vampires, and werewolves rule the many different continents. In the center of power, humans have been stretching their limits upon the land. Slowly, human armies had begun to take back land by land into their own suprememe rulership, containing their power with their might. As some races turn their back on the human threat, others take their arms and attempt to violently fight back against the large threat. But other powers are at work here, now everything is as it seems and just when you least expect it, your greatest ally could become your most bitter enemy.

As this land of the ancients rules, and as war steadily becomes a prominant threat who will you be? Which side will you choose? What choices will you make, and how will your choices effect everything you've known or come to love dearly? All the fates will decide your path as you adventure through this new world.

They took everything away from him. His pride, his life, his own sanity, and now the scientists had taken away his sight. The man lay in the corner of his cell, his body once fit, muscular, and lean was now terrible skinny and battered with punctures where needles had danced upon his pale skin and the scars of scapels opening up his flesh when he was still conscience. The humans had done this to him.. and he couldn't see clearly, not anymore. He yearned to have his sight back, but then again he almost didn't want to. Taking in a deep breath, his throat burned, begging for the sweet taste of blood to grace his tongue. Oh, how he wanted to die from this torture! It was almost too much for him to bare anymore. Reaching up to the red cloth covering his eyes, he felt tempted to take it off but he released it almost immediately when he heard footsteps. Tensing up, he waited for the human to approach.

"D*mn those humans... The keidran male was louging lazily in a dense forest area. Ever since being nearly bashed over the head by the "royal" patrol the humans had set up for a patrol to attack any species at no hesitation. Salem's sharp blue eyes scanned his surroundings as he sat up straight, tensing up as he muttered darkly, "Basitins, what are they doing so close to-" He paused and took in a deep breath, he cursed as he stood up, "I moved too close to them." He gazed cautiously in the direction in which the scent was blowing towards him in which his nose wrinkled up slightly, "I can never get used to that scent..."

He didn't respond as he moved his head away, his turning his back towards her as he curled his hands into fists. His jaw clenched as he whispered hoarsely, "...Blood... blood..." He turned towards her, blindly reaching out, his sanity was close to almost gone, "Give me BLOOD!" His fangs sharpened as he snarled, attempting to grab her, but to no avail, he was just lashing out wildly, eventually he stopped, collasping on his side, his breathing was harsh and it seemed like every breath hurt him.

Crouching down on the tree branch, Salem was debating on whether or not he should go cause some action to rile up some of the basitins when he smelt a scent beginning to come closer. Tilting his ear he thought, "Oh, I suppose some of the fun is coming to me instead." Moving among the tree branches, he kept to the higher trees, considering his bright white fur it would make he stand out like a sore thumb. Upon coming closer, he spotted the basitin female, his blue eyes gleamed sharply in a faint ray of sunlight that managed to come through the higher branches. Leaning lazily against the tree's trunk, he yawned, his tail twitching as he said, "You know, I would have thought that basitins would be travelling in their little wannabe troops than roughing it on their own," He leaped down to a lower branch, coming into clearer view, "especially a female as young as yourself. Then again, what do I know?" He tilted his head, taking in her appearance with a faint look of amusement in his eyes.

A rueful smile crossed his face as he sat up, saying in a mild tone, "What haven't you humans haven't done to me? I could care less on how or what you want to do with me." He didn't make any move towards her though, silently submitting to not attack her. He relied more on his hearing for now to check on what she was doing.

Salem smiled slightly in response, amused further by her reaction, "Oh, right." He looked down at a paw, absentmindedly inspecting a sharp claw, "And I suppose you're saying that you can take me down? Don't make me laugh." His blue eyes focused on her face as a lopesided grin crossed his face, his sharp fangs gleaming brightly, "But I suppose it'll be interesting to fight a basitin, but all of you are so tiny," He jumped down from his place, landing silently and gracefully upon his feet, "well little basitin, are you going to give me a good time or no?"

Upon being able to get a correct approximation on the basitin female standing before him, he held back a snicker of laughter. She was that small? He said in a strained voice, "You can't be serious right?" He was practically looking down on her, his ear twitched as he forced back small tints of laughter, "I knew Basitins were small but not that small! You're so tiny!" He forced back more laughter, an amused grin on his face as he backed up, drawing out the land broadside sword he had at his hip, "C'mon little basitin woman, let's see what you've got."

He muttered, "That was a threading needle." His lips turned down in a fierce scowl though he didn't often times showed emotions when he first came to this place, now the dominant facial expression he had was annoyance. Simple and pure irritance and annoyance. He said in a sharp tone, "I tend to rely more of my nose and ears now that I don't have my eyes, god forbid that you even attempt to force me to pick up a d*mn scent or else I might even consider ripping you to pieces." He leaned his head back as he muttered, "And frankly if you probably don't understand this by now, I really don't care what happens to you or anyone in this place." He sighed, throat burning as he squirmed uncomfortably, "Now that we got that straight, hurry up with whatever tests you have."

A small smile crossed his face, though he didn't say anything in response. The news was welcoming that he would get his sight back once he had his full strength but then again he had doubts that would happen any time soon. Hastily feeling his way around until his hands met the tray he eagerly drank of the pint of blood; though once he wadd done he wanted more. His head turned away from the now empty tray as he thought, "It doesn't matter, I'll be fine... at least for a little while now."

Sitting awkwardly against a wall, he took in a shuddering breath, coughing slightly though attempting to calm himself. He leaned his head back, practically not being able to see anything, his fingertips twitched as he let out a pent up breath. How much he wanted this to end, but to no extent of how much he wished for the torture to be over he was unsuccessful. Placing his head in his hands he remained in the same awkward position, not caring about anything around him.

OOC: I'm interested :D I'm joining in, though I'll have to find a picture later.
IC: Looking for the princess wasn't too hard to spot. Frankly, the young man had no previous intentions of being married, his society tended to look towards the male rulers than anything else and he had already proved himself to be a fierce foe. They called him "The Blood Wolf" since practically every battle he had went into his foes were always left in the blood of everything they knew. He shattered whole civilizations that proved nothing for his forces, and now he would have to settle down. He wasn't too interested though, upon appearance, he was muscular, tall and well built, and dare to say he waasn't ugly. In fact he was very attractive, though his face was cold and hardened from the battles he had went into, with deep tanned skin from being in the sun and full lips, though a scar marred his features on his face. He was garbed in the colors of his people, a dark crimson and gold, his shoulder-length black hair seemed to be shining in the faint light. Piercing, dark silver eyes stared caclulatingly at the princess as his gaze trailed over her, 'She seems like a fair woman... chaste though she knows much... surprising for her age.' The man's name was Asterlar.
